Our company was created in 1986, in Ste-Foy, nearby Quebec City. It has acquired with the years a solid reputation. With a vast experience in the knowledge domain of maritime electronics, the founder-president, Ben Teko created the company that has now become a leader in the industry. We are recognized for the quality of our services and for the prestigious brands we distribute and for which we provide technical support.

Our team of professionals is able to resolve any electronic problems that may occur on navigating or communication devices aboard ships navigating the high seas. We are accredited by major international maritime classification societies, and we offer a compliance inspection service when your certificate matures in Canadian waters.

Our technical team is available at all times to offer high-quality service complying with the demanding schedules of our clientele. If necessary, we have a worldwide network of partners assuring continuity of service for the undertaken tasks.

Please note that Scantech offers ship-owners of all countries a complete supervision of their ship's reflagging process. We have also helped many shipyards in creating the magnificent giants now crossing the seas of the world by performing the procedures to obtain the official appelation of these ships and providing all the navigating and communication equipments in their control centre.

Our company also offers the state of the art devices to its customers using wireless communication, including satellite telephony and conventional radiocommunication.
